Thanks for the great recap!
Springfield, NJ-based Wine Library, best known as the home of Wine Library TV and Gary Vaynerchuk, hosted an open house on Saturday for its friends and fans who, according to what I heard, came from near (the tri-state area) and far (someone flew in from California) to meet and mingle (many participate in the forums of the various Wine Library online properties) as well as sample some wines (part of a high-end tasting that included a 1992 Dominus) and some of the gourmet foods available for purchase via the Gourmet Library.
During the party, Vaynerchuk hosted two special live tapings of his show (which reviews wines, natch) upstairs on the third floor in the administrative heart of his organization (which was cleared of furniture) to allow as many in attendance as possible to watch (You’ll find a photo here). Afterwards, a short walk back to the NJ Transit station in nearby Milliburn, NJ, got me back to New York City’s Penn Station.
